Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Hemant Soren: Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan targeted Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday (July 5). Hemant Soren came out of jail and took oath as CM in place of Champai Soren on Thursday (July 4). Shivraj Singh took a dig at CM Soren and said what was Champai Soren’s fault in this?
Speaking to news agency ANI, he said, “What was Champai Soren’s fault? You made him the CM, you could have let him continue in the post, but you removed a tribal CM. Just because you want to control only one family.”
At the same time, according to news agency PTI, he said, “No one outside Soren’s family can become the Chief Minister of the state. The removal of Champai Soren is a vivid example of dynastic politics and hunger for power.”
Shivraj Singh is on a tour of Jharkhand
According to a Hindustan Times report, during his visit to Ramgarh in Jharkhand, the Agriculture and Rural Development Minister interacted with locals who said that they have been sanctioned houses under rural housing schemes and have also received installments. Locals alleged that they are facing problems due to the policies and corruption of the Soren government.
‘Resolved to end the coalition government’
Shivraj Singh said, “Now the biggest thing is that the real change will happen in the assembly elections, the corrupt, dishonest and chaotic government will go and BJP will come.” He said, “I am fortunate that I got the opportunity to come to this holy land of Jharkhand. It is our resolve to end the misrule of the coalition government here. This is a wonderful state and has immense potential. The soul of BJP is our ideology – the philosophy of integral humanism and workers are our life.”
